Biography

Dr. Aisling O’ Riordan (MD, MRCPI) qualified from RCSI in 1996. She completed her specialist training in Renal and General Internal Medicine in Dublin and Sydney before undertaking an MD in UCD on renal disease in liver transplant recipients. She moved to the London in 2007 to complete a research fellowship in Kings College Hospital and was subsequently appointed as a consultant nephrologist in the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in 2009. There she was also Trust lead for post graduate renal and later, basic specialist medical training.  

She commenced her consultancy post in the Mater University Hospital in 2017. Her particular clinical interests are in renal transplantation, low clearance chronic kidney disease and renal complications of liver disease.
