The Mater Foundation
In order to provide the level of service needed by the hospital and its patients, financial support above that provided by the State is necessary. The Mater Foundation gives this funding with help from volunteers and donors.
The Mater Foundation was set up in 1985 as the official fundraising body of The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Funds raised through The Mater Foundation are used to
- buy equipment
- improve facilities
- ensure patients are cared for in a comfortable environment
There are many ways you can help and your donation will bring enormous benefit to patients in the hospital – present and future.
