Mr. Brian Conlon - Chief Executive
The Chief Executive of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital is Mr. Brian Conlan. Brian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). He is responsible for the implementation of Board policy, providing direction and leadership and ensuring the continued development of hospital services and facilities, and that the best interests of the patient are maintained. The Chief Executive is responsible for the implementation of the Hospital’s Service Plan, ensuring service levels are achieved, quality standards are attained and maintained and expenditure targets and indebtedness levels are not exceeded.
The Chief Executive is Chairman of the Hospital Executive Management Committee. This committee is the principal decision-making forum for the hospital. All major clinical and non-clinical matters are referred to the Executive Management Committee for decision.
