The Institute of Healthcare Informatics was established by the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in conjunction with University College Dublin to provide professional qualifications and training in healthcare informatics for healthcare professionals. In providing its courses, it draws on the resources of both organisations. University College Dublin is the largest university in Ireland and is internationally recognised for the excellence and quality of its medical and nursing teaching.
