Mater Hospital Car Park Now Open

As part of the new Mater Campus development, a 436-space basement car park has opened.

This car park services staff, patients and visitors to the Mater Hospital. This modern facility provides secure parking with direct access to the Whitty Building entrance foyer. The car park is managed by Euro Car Parks.

Car access to this car park is from Eccles Street (beside Mater Private), view map below. 

In this car park there are 18 disabled car parking spaces and 156 bicycle parking spaces.

Mater Hospital Car Park

On Street Parking

On street parking is available, a 3-hour maximum parking time limit applies. Parking disks available from on street dispensing machines.   

There is a set down collection point for patients located at the main entrance of the hospital on North Circular Road at The Whitty Building entrance.

There are a number of on-street disabled parking spaces on Eccles Street. 

Taxi Service

A taxi rank is located opposite the front steps of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Eccles Street/Berkeley Road and outside the entrance for the Mater Private.
