What to bring with you: - Check list for you on admission
On coming to hospital you are advised to bring the following items (where appropriate):

  • Toilet Articles
  • Comb and hairbrush
  • Towel, facecloth and soap
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Clothing
  • Pyjamas/Nightdress
  • Dressing gown and slippers

Documents: - Bring your medical card with you. If you are a member of the V.H.I, BUPA or have other medical cover, please bring appropriate documentation and plan cover. Plan cover should be checked before you admission to Hospital.

Valuables: - The hospital does not accept responsibility for valuables e.g. money, jewellery and other personal belongings. Patients are encouraged to send personal property including valuables, jewellery, and important documents home with relatives. Only retain small amounts of money (just enough for day-to-day use).
