Car
Parking -
Parking
for visitors and patients is not available within the Hospital
grounds. A car park for visitors is situated in Eccles St.
between the Mater Public and the Mater Private Hospitals.
Parking costs €1.80
per hour. The
car park is open between 7.30 am and 9pm, Mon. to Fri.
Eccles St. is a disk parking area. Parking disks may be purchased
from the Mater Hospital Shop or from a dispensing machine
on Eccles St. adjacent to the entrance to the 1A Ward Block.
There
is a set-down collection point for patients located at the
entrance to the 1A Ward block.
Taxi
- A taxi rank is located opposite
the front steps of the Main Hospital Building.
