Bank and ATMs


Bank of Ireland

There is a Bank of Ireland facility in the lobby area in the McGivney Wing (just inside the McGivney entrance on Eccles Street). This is a non-cash facility. However you can lodge cheques, transfer money, open and close accounts, check balances, enquire about mortgages and many other services. 

 

ATMs

There are two ATMs in the hospital:

Bank of Ireland - McGivney Wing, Level 1 (in the lobby area in the McGivney Wing, just inside the entrance on Eccles Street.)

Londis Newsagents -Whitty Wing, Level 0 (inside the North Circular Road entrance).


Mobile phone charge boxes

There are three charge boxes around the hospital where you can charge a number of mobile phones types. These are coin operated devices and it costs €2 per 30 minute charge. The machines take 20c, 50c, €1, €2.

The charge boxes are located:

  • Emergency Department
  • Level 1, McGivney Wing
  • Level 3, McGivney Wing

Public toilets

Whitty Wing

  • Level 0 - Entrance foyer from North Circular Road – male toilet and female toilet
  • Level 1 - Hospital Street – disabled toilet
  • Level 1 - Opposite C-lifts – male toilet and female toilet
  • Level 1 - Opposite blood testing (phlebotomy) reception – disabled toilet
  • Level 2 - Beside radiology reception – disabled toilet

McGivney Wing

  • Level 3 - Beside Café Sol – female toilet
  • Level 3 - At end of the corridor linking to the Whitty Wing – male toilet

Vending machines

Vending machines are located throughout the hospital


TVs

There are TVs on every ward and each has at least 15 TV and radio channels. We ask patients and visitors to consider other patients when using the TV in multiple bed ward areas, as others may be resting/sleeping.
