It is required for all people with congenital heart to have routine cardiac investigations to assess the function of the heart. Each person is different and while one patient may only need one test others may need all of them. It depends on the severity and complexity of the cardiac defect.
These are completed in the cardiology department which is located in the old part of the hospital. It is accessed via the entrance off the North Circular road. Through the out patient department and up the small flight of stairs along this corridor you will find the rooms where all the cardiac investigations are completed.
