Electrocardiogram
ECG
An ECG records the rhythm and electrical activity of your heart. It also provides information about whether your heart has become enlarged or is working under strain.
The ECG test is painless and usually takes about five minutes. Sticky patches are placed on your arms, legs and chest and are then connected to a recording machine.
