Advise for patients coming to clinics:
Clinics for Mr McCarthy, Mr Hurley and Mr Nolke are held in the out-patient's department situated on the North Circular Road (directly opposite Mountjoy Garda Station). On arrival it would be beneficial to consult the information bulletin board situated at the main entrance. Clinics for Prof Redmond are held in the day care for the elderly unit on the 3rd floor, beside St Cecelia's Ward. It is vital that you register with the medical secretary on arrival. He/she will then check through all your details e.g. address, telephone number, general practioner name, next of kin etc. If any of your details have changed please inform the medical secretary to ensure your medical record is updated.
If this is your first visit to the Mater Hospital a new chart will be created on the day of the clinic. Please bring your letter of referral any current medications and any relevant documentation with you. All efforts are made to ensure that the patients are seen at their scheduled appointment times but unfortunately there may be occasions when the medical staff are delayed on the ward or in theatre. We please ask your patience and co-operation if this situation should occur.
