Patient Services Department

Description of Service

The Patient Services Department has responsibility for the monitoring and management of patient feedback. Patient feedback is used to enhance and improve the quality of services we deliver.

We accept feedback verbally by telephone or in person, and in writing by fax, e-mail or letter.

For more information on how to provide feedback and how it is managed please see our Feedback section.

Patient Liaison Officers:

We also provide patient advocacy through our Patient Liaison Officers. The Patient Liaison Officer, operating in a non-medical role, is one of the hospital’s means of enabling patients and families to obtain information or seek solutions to problems.

You should call the Patient Liaison Officer when you would like:

  • Someone to listen to you
  • Someone to give you support or assistance
  • Someone to respond to a complaint
  • Help in a crisis situation
  • Information about hospital services

Access to Our Services

The Patient Services Department is open to the public 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The office is closed for lunch 1pm to 2pm.

Location and Directions

We are located at 85A Upper Dorset Street, at the corner of St. Joseph’s Place, in the old Bank of Ireland premises.
