Biography

Dr Neill graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2004. He trained in Emergency Medicine in Northern Ireland until 2010 before taking up a post as lecturer in anatomy in Trinity College Dublin. He completed specialist training in Emergency Medicine in Dublin from 2012 to 2019 and completed fellowship training in Intensive Care in 2021.

He has previously worked in New Zealand doing intensive care and retrieval work. He has completed comprehensive echocardiography training through the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging in 2020. He was appointed as a Consultant Intensivist in the Mater Hospital in 2021, working in both the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department.
