Biography
Dr Catherine McGorrian (MSc, PhD, MRCPI) is a consultant in cardiology and acute medicine and is senior clinical lecturer in UCD. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has been working in the acute medicine service at the Mater Hospital since 2012. She also specialises in screening and management of families affected by genetic cardiac conditions and SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome) through her cardiology clinic in the Mater Hospital’s Heart House.
