Biography
Dr Kate O’Reilly (MDCM, MD, FRCP, FACP) is a consultant in respiratory and acute medicine, clinical lecturer in UCD and holds an honorary senior lecturer post at University of Southampton in the UK. She is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada and has worked in the Mater Hospital since 2013. Prior to this, she was consultant respiratory physician at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust and completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine at University of Rochester in the USA. Her special interests include interstitial lung disease and respiratory failure. She is principal investigator on a number of clinical trials and has an active translational research programme in fibrotic lung disease.
