Biography
Dr. Nicola Ronan MB BCh BAO, MRCPI, MRCPUK, PhD, Dip Clin Ed
Consultant in Lung Transplantation and Cystic Fibrosis
Dr. Nicola Ronan is a Consultant in Lung Transplantation and Cystic Fibrosis,
with specialist expertise in advanced lung disease and transplant medicine. She
graduated from University College Cork in 2009 and subsequently obtained
Membership of both the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the Royal
College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (London). Dr. Ronan completed a
PhD in Cystic Fibrosis and went on to undertake advanced clinical fellowships in
Interstitial Lung Disease at the Royal Brompton Hospital and in Lung
Transplantation at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. She also holds a
Diploma in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh and is currently
completing a Master’s in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and
Tropical Medicine.
