Biography
Dr. Woo completed higher specialty training in Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine in 2018. He completed a fellowship in Infection in Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and continued work there as a Consultant in Infectious Diseases with an interest in infections in immunocompromised patients, multi-drug resistant infections and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT). He has been working in the Mater Misericoridae University Hospital since 2020 and is Deputy Clinical Lead for the National High Level Isolation Unit (NHLIU). He is one of the leads for the OPAT service with a particular interest in osteoarticular infections. Additionally, he is the lead for staff education and training in the management of patients with high consequence infectious diseases.
