A Next Generation Sequencing Laboratory has been set-up to establish a sequencing programme to aid in the patient treatment decision-making process for a range of disorders.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to work with a Post-Doctoral Scientific and Operations Lead to provide a Next Generation Sequencing service. This position requires a Medical Scientist with knowledge and experience in Molecular Biology and a knowledge of Bioinformatics and data handling is desirable .

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate that has demonstrated skills in Next Generation Sequencing, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry, project management, large-scale data analysis, Bioinformatics and in the supervision of staff. This position requires an expert in Genomics / Next-Generation Sequencing, who will serve as the Scientific and Technical Director of Operations for the Next Generation Sequencing Laboratory.

Applicants should hold a PhD in genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry or related disciplines; have in-depth laboratory experience in performing experiments involving next-generation sequencing, in addition to managing and analysing genomics data.
