What to expect at the clinic

When you come in to the clinic, please take a number from the ticket machine and take a seat. We will then call you to the reception desk and register you.

Once you are registered, you can take a seat in the waiting area. The doctor will then come and bring you into the clinic.

The doctor will take your history and carry out a medical examination and routine STI testing – this involves blood tests and a swab. You will be given an appointment to come back to the clinic for your results. This appointment is usually about two weeks later. If you need treatment, the doctor will arrange this for you, and it will be free of charge.
