Mr Timlin graduated Rcsi in 1995. Completing basic and higher surgical training in 2007. He attained a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical fellowship in Toronto at the Toronto Western Hospital.
He has been a consultant since 2008 and joined the spine surgery team at MMUH in2014. He is actively engaged in undergrad and post graduate surgical education and has a research interest in spine surgery. He is an active member of the consultant team managing the national spinal cord injuries unit. He is secretary of the Irish spine society
