The Mater Hospital is conducting a survey for our patients. The survey includes questions about your experience as a patient of the ward environment, your care and treatment, your interaction with our staff and your discharge from hospital.The results of the survey will help us to understand what we are doing well and what needs to be improved.


The Mater Hospital Inpatient Experience Survey

The survey is supported by the National Inpatient Experience Survey. It will take place from 01 November 2021 to 31 March 2022. All patients over 16 years of age who have spent 24 hours or more in the Mater Hospital during this period will be asked to complete the survey.

You will be invited to take part in the survey by text message. You will receive the text message up to 14 days following your discharge from hospital. The text message will be addressed to you and will ask that you click on a link to provide information on your experience in our hospital.

Your participation in the survey is voluntary. You have the option to text MATSTOP to opt out if you do not wish to take part in the survey. If you do take part, your answers will be processed in strict confidence.
