Dr. Carole Ridge




Dr Carole Ridge is a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in cardiothoracic and interventional radiology. She was appointed consultant in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and Clinical Lecturer in University College Dublin in 2013 after completing specialist registrar training in St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin and fellowships in interventional oncology and MRI-predominant body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and cardiothoracic imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in the United States. Dr Ridge provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the Rapid Access Lung Cancer clinic including CT and PET-CT staging and image guided lung biopsy and thermal ablation and has Society for Cardiovascular CT level III accreditation for interpretation of cardiac CT. Her research interests comprise lung cancer staging, pulmonary nodule characterization and thermal ablation of lung tumours.
